Photoshop actions are pre-recorded steps that were taken by the original creator for you to re-create with just a push of a button! Actions really can save you so much time and can keep your images looking consistent.

I’ll show you the magic of loading in FREE actions I’m giving you so you can start to apply these cool effects (kinda like Instagram filters) to your Photoshop files!

To load these FREE Photoshop actions:

Download and doubleclick the zip file you’ll get from my link to decompress it (it will create a folder in the same location as the .zip file)
Open a file in Photoshop
Go to the WINDOW/ACTIONS
Use the options/hamburger menu at the top of the ACTIONS panel to go to LOAD ACTIONS and navigate to the .ATN file located in your unzipped folder.
In the ACTIONS panel, expand the CINEMATIC ACTIONS that we just loaded and click on one of the styles, such as “Horror” and press the play icon at the bottom of the ACTIONS panel
Voilà–your picture is instantly transformed with a range of cinematic effects listed below

The FREE action set includes the following cinematic effects:

horror

Adds dark and creepy tones to your photographs with a blue-green color shift and a strong vignette

fantasy

Applies punchy and vibrant color adjustments with a focus on rich blues and purples

western

Converts images into vintage photos with old style sepia tones made of earthy browns and reduced saturation

Dramatically brightens a photograph and boosts the vibrancy with a subtle processed look
