Illustrator is THE program to create vector graphics that can be scaled to any size which makes it perfect for logos and other illustrations.

BUT– you can also insert photos into your layout to make postcards, flyers, brochures, you name it!

Below I list the steps to import photos into Illustrator, but you’ll get more information from watching my short “quick tip!” video to see it in action.

Here are the steps:

  1. Go to File/Place
  2. Navigate to the photo(s) to insert
  3. Click place
  4. Insert the photo(s) into your layout wherever you click down
  5. Note your cursor’s icon to ensure all photos have been deposited

For best results, I encourage you to watch the short quick tip video above as many times as you need!
